FAQs

Is this the moisturizer for me?

We’ve found Alpine Rich Cream to be a great fit for those with dry, sensitive, or mature skin. Deliciously rich and deeply moisturizing, it helps reinforce skin’s barrier and smooth the look of fine lines.

Those with normal skin may enjoy a rich, yet lightweight moisturizer like our Golden Hour Recovery Cream for daily use, but can also use Alpine Rich Cream as a barrier-replenishing treatment when skin is extra dry.

If you have oily to combination skin, or your skin simply craves a lighter touch, our Fortifying Gel Moisturizer is another great option.

How and when do I use this product?

After cleansing and toning (and applying any serums you may use), smooth a dime-sized dab onto clean, dry skin. Use it morning, night, or both—or anytime your skin is craving more moisture.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?

Though not tested for eczema-prone skin, Alpine Rich Cream was intentionally formulated with ingredients like Ceramides and Skullcap to soothe stressed skin and we have heard awesome feedback from folks with sensitive, reactive skin (including those with eczema!). If you have extra-sensitive skin, we might recommend a patch test on the inner wrist before applying to the full face for extra precaution.

Is this product pregnancy-safe?

Alpine Rich Cream does not contain any ingredients that are commonly avoided during pregnancy, like vitamin A or high doses (+2%) of salicylic acid. That said, we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider about ingredient lists and any new products during pregnancy.

Does it contain fragrance?

Alpine Rich Cream has a subtle floral aroma that comes entirely from real plant extracts—never synthetic fragrances.

What if I don’t love it?

We totally understand that skincare is not one-size-fits-all and that everyone’s skin is unique. If you are not satisfied with your Ursa Major products, you may return your product for a full refund or store credit within 30 days of receiving your order.

Do you offer free shipping?

We happily offer free standard shipping via DHL/USPS for all domestic orders $40+ placed on our website. Orders below $40 will ship via DHL/USPS for a flat $7 fee.
