    Is this the moisturizer for me?  

    We’ve found Golden Hour Recovery Cream to be a great fit for all ages and skin types. Golden Hour has a midweight texture, and works wonders as a replenishing daily moisturizer, or as a recovery cream for skin that’s been out in the elements.  

    Those with particularly dry, sensitive, or mature skin may also enjoy our thicker Alpine Rich Cream for extra hydration and barrier support.

    If you have oily to combination skin, or your skin simply craves a lighter touch, Fortifying Gel Moisturizer is another great option.

    How and when do I use this product?  

    Thanks to a water-based formula that absorbs quickly without a trace of heaviness or greasy residue, Golden Hour might quickly become your new favorite moisturizer. Use it as a daily moisturizer after cleansing and toning (or any serums you might use), as a luxurious night cream, or anytime your skin needs extra TLC.

    Can I use Golden Hour around my eyes?  

    Golden Hour Recovery Cream is gentle enough for the delicate eye area. Many customers love using it as an extra boost of hydration around the eyes. If you prefer something formulated specifically for that area, our Eye Cream offers targeted benefits for dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines.

    Is it safe for sensitive or eczema-prone skin?  

    Though not tested for eczema-prone skin, we have designed our products to work for a variety of skin types and have heard awesome feedback from folks with sensitive, reactive skin (including those with eczema!). If you have extra-sensitive skin, we might recommend a patch test on the inner wrist before applying to the full face for extra precaution.

    Is this product pregnancy-safe?  

    Golden Hour Recovery Cream does not contain any ingredients that are commonly avoided during pregnancy, like vitamin A or high doses (+2%) of salicylic acid. That said, we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider about ingredient lists and any new products during pregnancy.

    Does it contain fragrance?  

    The aroma contains a mild herbaceous blend of sweet Neroli, sour Rose and spicy Sandalwood.

    What if I don’t love it?  

    We totally understand that skincare is not one-size-fits-all and that everyone’s skin is unique. If you are not satisfied with your Ursa Major products, you may return your product for a full refund or store credit within 30 days of receiving your order.

    Do you offer free shipping?  

    We happily offer free standard shipping via DHL/USPS for all domestic orders $40+ placed on our website. Orders below $40 will ship via DHL/USPS for a flat $7 fee.
